HLE (high yield strength) steel is used to manufacture cold worked profile beams.
There are many advantages to cold worked profiles. Mezzatech’s profile is up to 65% lighter than hot worked profiles hot (for example IPE or HEA profiles). Because cold profiles are manufactured with less material, they are much more economical while maintaining identical resistance.
